Linden authorities are investigating an incident where a worker was burned inside an industrial complex late Sunday night.
According to preliminary reports, at approximately 10:30 p.m., Linden and refinery firefighters responded to reports of a fire inside the Bayway Industrial Complex located in the 1400 block of Park Avenue.
Upon arrival, emergency repsonders found a male suffering burns to his face after.
The unidentified worker was transported to the hospital for treatment and is reportedly in stable condition.
Authorities believe that the incident resulted from an electrical fire but are continuing to investigate.
CORRECTION: In an earlier report, RLS Media mistakenly identified the incident as occurring at the refinery. The incident did not occurred at the refinery but at another facility inside the Bayway Industrial complex.
