‪Construction Worker from Newark Injured After Falling Off Union Home ‬

EMS transported a 50-year-old construction worker from Newark to the hospital after he fell from a roof in Union.‬

‪According to authorities, at approximately 9:01 this morning, police responded to 828 Hemlock Road after a construction worker reportedly fell from the home.‬

‪Upon arrival, police found the conscious and alert construction worker - later identified as Mr. Juan Jesus-Lozano, 50, of Newark - on the ground after falling 15-20 feet. ‬

‪EMS and Paramedics transported Jesus-Lozano to University Hospital in Newark with ‬facial, leg, and chest injuries.

‪The worker was currently working as a subcontractor for VTR Construction of Springfield, officials added. ‬

‪The incident is under investigation by the Township Building Department and OSHA.‬
