Police are on the scene of a shooting with a child injured in Paerson at this time.
Gunfire rang out in the 40's block of Rosa Parks Boulevard sending police to they scene where they located a 7-year-old child suffering an apparent gunshot wound to shoulder.
EMS transported the child to St. Joseph's Hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
There is a crime scene established and an investigation underway.
UPDATE 7:05 p.m. The child was inside a home when shots rang out on the street. The boy was struck by a bullet that came through his home.
