Chick-Fil-A is Coming to Linden

Linden

Linden City officials are happy to announce that after several months of meetings with the developer and Tuesday night’s Planning Board meeting, Chick-Fil-A is coming to Linden!

Linden's Mayor Armstead said, “I am proud to take credit as the direct result of my administration’s dedication to enhance economic development and create employment opportunities for Linden residents. In fact, there have never been more employed Linden residents than there are today.

The number of Linden residents with jobs surpassed 21,000 this year for the first time in history, according to the Federal Bureau of Labor Statistics! The approval given to this vital part of the Legacy Square development is another green light for economic growth and job creation in the City of Linden.

Anyone interested in job placement should contact our Linden First program (908) 290 3107. We look forward to many other green lights before the years’ end!”

The Mayor went on to say, “This administration has been working tirelessly with the developer and potential tenants for the Legacy Square development. We have identified several prospective tenants that we felt would contribute to this development to its overall success.

Because the success of this project is paramount, Chick-Fil-A was one of our first choices.

After many conversations and continued outreach, Chick-Fil-A agreed to locate in Linden. I am grateful to have an economic development team who worked diligently to help us accomplish this vision.”
