Cherry Hill Pedestrian, Vehicle Crash Leads to Temporary Closure of NJ-38

Early Sunday morning, a collision in Cherry Hill prompted police to shut down both directions of NJ-38 to facilitate an investigation.Physical TherapyThe accident occurred shortly before 12:25 a.m. in the westbound lanes near Longwood Avenue.

Upon arrival, reports stated that first responders found at least two individuals with injuries sustained after being struck by a vehicle.

The severity of the injuries has not yet been disclosed as authorities continue to determine the cause of the incident.

The highway was closed to traffic, allowing emergency services to manage the scene and conduct preliminary investigations safely.

However, NJ-38 was reopened by 6 a.m., in time for the early morning commute.

Police are urging anyone who may have witnessed the collision or who has information about the crash to come forward to assist with the ongoing investigation.
