Carjacking in Camden Leaves Victim Injured; Suspect at Large

Camden Metro Police are actively searching for a suspect involved in a carjacking incident that occurred overnight, leaving one person injured.

The incident unfolded around 1:56 a.m. Wednesday in the 100 block of East 9th Street.

Law enforcement officers swiftly responded to the scene, where they discovered the victim, who had suffered non-life-threatening injuries during the carjacking.

According to authorities, the suspect violently attacked the victim before fleeing the area in the stolen vehicle.

As of now, the suspect remains at large, and the investigation into this troubling incident is ongoing.

Camden Metro Police are urging anyone with information about the carjacking or the suspect's whereabouts to come forward and assist in resolving this case.
