Update: Police are investigating an incident that left three pedestrians - a mother and her two daughters - injured after they were struck by a car in Scotch Plains this afternoon.
Police responded to the intersection of Park Avenue and East 2nd Street in Scotch Plains shortly after 2 p.m., where police confirmed that three pedestrians - a mother and her two daughters – suffered non-life threatening injuries.
According to police, mother, who suffered a leg injury, was transported to Overlook Hospital for treatment. The daughters were treated at the scene, police added.
Incident remains under investigation.
