A vehicle reported stolen from a neighborhood in Millburn was observed by authorities in Newark overnight.
According to preliminary reports, the Ford Explorer was seen in the area of Avon Avenue and South 18th Street at around 1 a.m. traveling at a high rate of speed.
Newark Police put out a "be on the lookout" alert for the vehicle that had a reported NJ license plate number "M55-GMW."
The investigation is continuing.
