Car, Jewelry and Cash Taken in Belleville Armed Carjacking

Belleville Police Department is actively investigating an armed carjacking that took place in the early hours of January 4.

Physical TherapyThe incident occurred at approximately 1:48 a.m. near the intersection of Union Avenue and Joralemon Street in Belleville.

Belleville Police told RLS Media the victim's vehicle, a 2005 Honda Odyssey in blue, was forcibly stopped by a white Honda bearing a stolen New Jersey license plate, C81GJG.

Two individuals emerged from the white Honda, both armed with handguns and wearing dark clothing and black ski masks.

According to Belleville Police, they proceeded to rob the victim of cash, jewelry, and their cell phone before ultimately taking the Honda Odyssey.

The suspects then fled the scene, heading west on Joralemon Street from Union Avenue.

The Belleville Police are urging anyone with information regarding this incident to come forward.

Police are particularly interested in any details that could lead to the identification and apprehension of the suspects involved in this crime.
