Camden County Prosecutor Mary Eva Colalillo and Camden County Police Chief Scott Thomson reported a double homicide in the city today.
Camden County Police responded at approximately 1:42 p.m. on Monday to the unit block of N. 26th Street in Camden in reference to a 911 call.
Officers arrived and located a male victim, John Valerio, 23, and a female victim, Aleshia Hill, 25, both suffering from gunshot wounds inside the house. Both victims were residing in Camden.
They both were pronounced deceased at the scene at approximately 2:02 p.m.
The investigation into the shootings is ongoing. No arrests have been made at this time.
