A 32-year-old Camden cop who sexually assaulted and impregnated a 15-year-old girl has been charged, according to the Camden County Prosecutor.
According to the victim, Rafael Martinez Jr. and her had had sex on multiple occasions at his home from September 2016 until Aug. 18.
Following the criminal complaint, Det. Rafael Martinez Jr. was suspended without pay.
In mid-August, Martinez admitted he was the father and signed the baby's birth certificate.
A DNA sample also confirmed that Martinez is was the father, authorities added.
