Passaic County authorities checked hospitals in the region for possible shooting victims after a shots fired incident in Paterson on Wednesday night.
According to police, at approximately 10:10 p.m., gunfire rang out in the area of 297 12th Avenue.
When police arrived at the scene, officers found a home struck by bullets, but no one inside was injured.
Police say a ShotSpotter activated and alerted them of the shooting. There were no victims after a search of the area.
The suspect fled the scene and is at large.
