Brooklyn Man Charged with Witness Tampering

Bergen County Prosecutor Mark Musella announced the arrest of Jerome W. Harris, 35, of Brooklyn, NY, on a charge of witness tampering. 

According to Prosecutor Musella, on Wednesday, June 8, Bergen County Prosecutor's Office detectives observed Harris video-recording a witness in an attempt to intimidate them from giving testimony in a trial. 

An investigation was initiated by the Bergen County Prosecutor's Office.

As a result of the investigation, on Wednesday, June 22, Harris was arrested and charged with witness tampering. 

Prosecutor Musella states that the charge is merely an accusation and that the defendant is presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty beyond a reasonable doubt.
