Bronx New York Man Wanted for Newark Shooting

Police in Newark are on the search for Mr. Marvin Fermin, 20, of The Bronx, who who they said is wanted for a shooting that occurred on Monday, August 7th.

According to police, approximately 10:22 p.m., Newark Police responded to a call of a shooting in the 100-block of 13th Street.

Arriving Officers observed property damage resulting from the shooting in the area.

Police said a 56-year old male's vehicle sustained damages from gunshots and a woman in the area located a bullet hole in a wall inside her residence.

There were no injuries reported as a result of this incident.

Detectives developed sufficient evidence to identify Mr. Fermin as a suspect in this shooting and obtained a warrant for his arrest on charges of Aggravated Assault, Unlawful Possession of a Weapon, and Possession of a Weapon for an Unlawful Purpose.

While police are actively searching for this suspect, they seek the public’s assistance in quickly locating and removing him from our streets.
