Emergency responders in Union County rushed to Route 1&9 as a truck collided with a jersey barrier at South Wood Ave southbound in Linden around 6 a.m. today.
The impact left the truck precariously perched on the concrete barrier, leaking fluids into the roadway.
Quick response from Linden firefighters and police is underway, but heavy morning rush-hour delays are expected due to the ongoing cleanup.
Fortunately, there are no reports of serious injuries.
Commuters are urged to find alternate routes while authorities work diligently to clear the traffic signal and restore order to the morning commute.
