BREAKING: Severe Injuries Reported for Male Shot in West Orange; Second Victim Arrives at Hospital

West Orange

Police are on the scene of a shooting with a male injured in a section on West Orange at this time. 

Officers responded to reports of shots fired in the 40’s block of Watson Avenue around 3:10 p.m. 

Units arrived and taped the area off when they found an unconscious and unresponsive male suffering a bullet wound to his chest. 

Homicide

Emergency responders began CPR before rushing the victim to the hospital. 

While detectives worked the scene, officials ad St. Barnabas Hospital in Livingston reported to police that a second victim entered the emergency department suffering bullet wounds. 

Police are looking for a black vehicle that sped from the scene towards Montclair. 

The investigation is active and ongoing. 

UPDATE 3:57 p.m. This is a confirmed Homicide Investigation.

UPDATE 4:30 p.m. Vehicle wanted  for the deadly shooting found in Newark.
