Police have a portion of Route 22 closed while officers and detectives investigate a threat reportedly made against a shopper center in Hillside a short time ago.
According to preliminary reports, police clears the Shoprite supermarket located on Route 22 after receiving some type of threat made at the establishment.
At this time, it is unknown if a device was located or if police found anything suspicious inside the store.
The investigation is active and ongoing.
