Police in Paterson are on the scene of a double shooting that has erupted in a neighborhood in the city this evening.
The shooting happened at approximately 9 pm in the 300 blocks of Van Houten sending multiple police untidy to the scene where officers immediately taped off the area after finding the victims struck by bullets.
Police are reporting that both victims are suffering gunshot wounds to the legs and are expected to survive at this time.
There is a crime scene established and an investigation underway.
Please avoid the area for the investigation that’s occurring near 301 Van Houten. There have been 10 people shot with two dead since last Sunday.
The gunmen remain at-large.
