Police are on the scene of a shooting that has a man seriously injured at this time.
Gunfire out in the 200 block of Springfield Ave. (near the Sonic Restaurant) at around 7:30 a.m. sending a large police presence to the scene where a male victim around the age of 30-years-old was located suffering a gunshot wound to the chest. The man was reportedly unconscious and unresponsive when found by emergency crews.
There is a large crime scene and a search underway for a thin black male observeed running from the scene.
