There are serious injuries reported for a shooting that happened in the city's South Ward a short time ago.
Gunfire rang out in the area of Hawthorne Avenue and Dewey Street at around 3 p.m. sending emergency responders to the scene where they found two people suffering gunshot wounds at that location.
EMS has arrived to the scene to transport one victim to University Hospital.
One of the victims have been pronounced dead at the scene according to reports.
Avoid the area for the investigation.
