Police are on the scene of a shooting with multiple people shot in the city's North Ward at this time.
Details are continuing to develop, but according to preliminary to reports, police responded to shots fired that rang out in the 300 block of Mount Prospect 6:20 p.m. sending police to the scene where they found three people struck by gunfire.
One of the victims suffered a gunshot wound to the head while the other victims were struck by the torso and leg reports said.
Police are looking for a burgundy vehicle that was observed speeding from the scene.
Avoid the area for the investigation.
