There are life threatening injuries reported for a male found suffering a gunshot wound to the head in Newark’s South Ward.
It happened at approximately 7:58 p.m., in the 100 block of Huntington Terrace, where police responded to a ShotsSpotter activation according to preliminary reports.
Upon officers arrival, they found a ‘gravely’ injured male suffering a gunshot wound to the head.
There are a host of law enforcement personnel on the scene with the area taped off at this time.
This is the third confirm shooting around Newark in less than 3 hours; all resulting in injuries to victims.
