A request for EMS to rush to the scene of a shooting with a man down inside a store has been placed by police at this time.
Gunfire rang out in the 200 block of Clinton Place in the city's South Ward at around 9:55 a.m. sending officers to the scene where they located the victim inside the store shot to the abdomen according to initial reports.
It is not immediately clear if the victim was shot inside the store or entered the establishment after suffering injury from gunfire on the streets.
Police have a crime scene established so please avoid the area for the investigation.
