A crime scene is established in the 300 block of Ocean Ave. after gunfire rang out in the area at around 7:45 p.m. striking a male victim multiple times.
Police arrived to the scene after receiving several 911 calls of a shooting with a man down at that location.
There is a large police presence at Jersey City Medical Center after a large crowd arrived to the emergency room.
The victim is reported to be in critical condition.
