Emergency responders are on the scene of a car fire with injuries reported in Linden at this time.
Details regarding the incident are developing, but according to preliminary reports, from our RLS Metro morning field team, firefighters were called to the vicinity of 630 West St. Georges Avenue to investigate reports of smoke coming from a vehicle at approximately 6:00 a.m.
Firefighters arrived at the scene and found the fire ignited in flames and began the process of extinguishing the fire according to on-scene reports.
A search of the vehicle revealed one person inside suffering severe injuries. The victim was provided with life-saving assistance form emergency responders at the scene and then transported to an area hospital for treatment.
