Bergen County authorities are reporting minor injuries for occupants on board a school bus that crashed in Hackensack Wednesday morning.
Hackensack emergency responders rushed to the 200 block of Hackensack Avenue to investigate reports of a bus crash around 7:30 a.m.
Upon arrival, rescue crews found the driver and under a dozen children on a crashed school bus.
Police believe the driver reportedly lost control due to severe black ice and slammed into a pole at that location.
None of the injuries were reported as serious and police closed a portion of Hackensack Avenue for the investigation and salting for the roadway.
