BREAKING: House Fire in Union Township Kills One

A fierce fire engulfed a residential home in Union Township this eveing leading to at least one fatality.Ad Union County investigators are currently examining the scene of the devastating blaze that occurred on the 1100 block of Weber Street.

The incident, which took place around 5:25 p.m., prompted an urgent response from local firefighters following reports of a fire with occupants trapped inside.

Upon arrival, emergency crews were met with significant smoke and flames billowing from both levels of a two-and-a-half-story wood-framed house.

In quick action to combat the fire, firefighters deployed three hoses, allowing them to apply water to the flames promptly.AdDespite their efforts to control the fire and rescue those inside, they discovered an unidentified individual who was later pronounced dead at the scene.

The cause of the fire remains under active investigation, with authorities working to determine the circumstances that led to this deadly event.

As of now, no additional information has been released regarding the identity of the victim or the potential cause of the fire.
