BREAKING: Four Victims Shot After Early Morning Gunfire Erupts in Paterson

Authorities in Passaic County said at approximately 1:38 a.m. on Sunday, Paterson Police were dispatched to the area of Hillman and East Main streets on a report of shots fired.

Upon arrival, Paterson Police officers located a 33-year-old female, a 36-year-old male and a 28-year-old female all Paterson residents, who sustained non-fatal gunshot wounds.

Police said the 33-year-old female and 36-year-old male were immediately transported to Saint Joseph’s University Medical Center for treatment.

The 28-year-old female refused medical attention police said. 

Paterson Police were then advised that two 26-year-old men from Paterson arrived at Saint Joseph’s University Medical Center for treatment of non-fatal gunshot wounds and are in critical condition.

Based on the initial investigation the victims were attending a large gathering in the area of Hillman and East Main streets when an unknown actor began shooting.

The investigation remains active and ongoing.
