Police are on the scene investigating a shooting that caused injuries to one person at a location in Elizabeth a short time ago.
According to preliminary reports, a gunman fired over a dozen rounds at the The Mravlag Manor apartment complex on Clarkson Avenue just before 4 p.m. sending several police units to the scene.
Police arrived and found one person struck by bullets according to police.
The victim was transported to the hospital in an unknown condition while police taped off the area and conducted the investigation.
There were no arrests immediately reported.
