EMS rushed a shooting victim to the hospital after gunfire rang out on an East Orange Street this evening.
According to preliminary reports, police responded to reports of shots fired in the vicinity of North 19th Street and Eaton Place before 8:30 p.m.
Upon their arrival, they found the unconscious and unresponsive victim laying on the ground suffering gunshot wounds.
Police have a crime scene established and an investigation underway.
There are no arrests and no other injuries reported at this time.
