BREAKING CLIFTON NJ: Gunshot Victims Found in Clifton, Paterson Neighborhoods

There is a crime scene established and an investigation underway for a shots fired incidents that connected on a males at locations in

Clifton and Paterson this evening.

First, Clifton Police responded to reports of shots fired that rang out in the area of 44 McDonald Street where they arrived and found a male victim bleeding heavily after a gunman fired shots that struck him in the leg.

The victim was rushed to St. Joseph’s Hospital where doctors treated his injuries.

A short time later, gunfire erupted at 999 Market Street where police arrived and found evidence that a shooting occurred but no victim was located.

Police say a male victim checked into St. Joseph’s Medical Center suffering a gunshot wound to the arm from the Paterson shooting scene.

Police say a third victim also entered St.Joseph's Hospital suffering bullet wounds and is believed to have been struck at the Clifton location.

All of the victims’ injuries appear non-life threatening at this time.

The investigation is active and ongoing. Both shootings are reportedly related.
