There is a large crime scene in the 200 block of Belleville Ave, where residents informed us of shots fired with a person down earlier this morning.
There are very little details on what actually occurred at the scene but a spokesperson for the Essex County Prosecutor's Office is confirming that there was at least one fatality in the vicinity of the Wet Bar on Belleville Ave.
We are informing you to stay away from the area as police have a portion of Belleville Ave. closed to traffic near Union Ave.
Expect heavy delays in the area.
