BREAKING: Armed Suspect Shoots Victim Four Times in Jersey City

UPDATE 4 am: The unidentified victim has been pronounced dead and the Hudson County Prosecutor's Office will lead the investigation. 

Jersey City emergency responders administered life-saving CPR to a Mae who was struck by multiple bullets at a location in the city Saturday morning. 

It happened just before 3:20 a.m. near 116 Randolph Avenue. 

Police responded to reports of shots fired in the neighborhood and when they arrived at the scene, officers found the severely wounded, unconscious and unresponsive victim. 

Authorities said the injured suffered fatal injuries. 

The suspect ran from the scene and is at large. 

Police reported no other injuries.
