Bloomfield Firefighters Respond to Report of Fire Inside Laundromat

There were minor injuries reported for at least one person from a small blaze that ignited inside a laundromat in Blommifeld Friday evening.

According to preliminary reports, firefighters responded to 60 Dodd Street after they received reports of a fire inside the Neighborhood Laundromat at approximately 8 p.m.

Crews arriving at the scene found smoke coming from the single-story establishment.

When firefighters made entry into the laundromat, they noticed much of the fire was already knocked down with a fire extinguisher according to reports.

One person suffered minor smoke installation and was treated by EMS and a search of the laundromat for any other injuries came back negative.

The fire was reportedly isolated to a dyer inside the business according to officials.
