NJ Lottery officials announced that the jackpots keep coming in Jersey Cash 5’s merry month of May!
A Bergen County player matched all five numbers Wednesday to win the $221,666 jackpot in the daily game, according to NJ Lottery officials. The jackpot is the ninth to be won this month.
There were six jackpots won in the year-ago period, lottery officials said.
NJ Lottery authorities stated that the ticket was purchased at Green Way Markets, 112 N. Maple Ave., in the Bergen County village of Ridgewood. The retailer will receive a $2,000 bonus for selling the winning prize.
The winning numbers were 09, 23, 24, 32, and 33. The XTRA was 04, and the Bullseye was 33, lottery officials say.
NJ Lottery officials stated in addition to the jackpot, six players matched four out of five balls, the Bullseye, and the Xtra to win $1,500 each; one player matched four out of five balls and the Xtra to win $750; 28 players matched four out of five balls and the Bullseye to win $500 each.
The winning jackpot is the game’s 29th of the year, NJ Lottery officials said.
