Bergen County Prosecutor Mark Musella announced the arrest of Skyler U. Sutter, 18, of Franklin Lakes, on charges of distribution and possession of explicit images of minors.
The arrest is the result of an investigation conducted by the Bergen County Prosecutor's Office under the direction of Chief Jason Love.
According to Prosecutor Musella, on Thursday, December 9, members of the Bergen County Prosecutor's Office Cyber Crimes Unit executed a search warrant at Sutter's residence during the course of a months-long Internet investigation.
The investigation revealed that Sutter used the Internet to view, download, possess and distribute explicit images of minors.
As a result of the investigation, Sutter was arrested on Thursday, December 9, in Paramus and charged with distribution of explicit images of minors and possession of explicit images of minors.
Sutter was remanded to the Bergen County Jail pending a first appearance in Central Judicial Processing Court in Hackensack.
