Residents and businesses looking for heavy-duty equipment or surplus vehicles have an opportunity to bid on municipal assets now available through a public auction in Bergen County.

Officials in Hasbrouck Heights announced that the Borough’s Department of Public Works has listed several vehicles for sale through the Municibid online auction platform. Click HERE to bid.
Bidding is open to the public 24 hours a day and will close on Monday, May 11.
Among the items available is a 1994 Volvo White GMC garbage truck, along with a 1990 International tree chip truck and a 2014 Chevrolet Tahoe previously used as a police vehicle.

According to borough officials, all proceeds generated from the auction will be reinvested directly into the local community.
Funds are expected to support road maintenance, public safety efforts, community programs, and local events.
The auction is open to both residents and businesses, offering a chance to purchase municipal equipment while contributing to improvements within the borough.

Officials encourage interested bidders to visit Municibid for full details and participation.
