Bergen County Authorities Seek Hit-and-Run Driver After Pedestrian Strike

Teaneck authorities are actively searching for the driver of a vehicle involved in a hit-and-run incident that occurred shortly before 8:40 p.m.

AdThe incident took place in the vicinity of 79 East Forest Avenue.

Upon receiving the report, emergency responders swiftly arrived at the scene and found a pedestrian who had been struck by the vehicle.

Thankfully, the pedestrian sustained non-fatal injuries and was subsequently transported to Hackensack University Medical Center for treatment.

Authorities believe that the driver responsible for the accident fled the scene.

The vehicle involved in the incident is described as green and is believed to have sustained heavy damage to its front end.

Teaneck police have launched an investigation into the hit-and-run, and they are actively seeking information that can lead to the identification and apprehension of the driver involved.Ad Any witnesses or individuals with relevant information are urged to come forward to assist with the ongoing investigation.
