Police in Belleville are on the search for two suspects who are responsible for an armed robbery and an attempted armed robbery that occurred in the city overnight.
According to reports, police responded to the area of NJ-7 and Holmes Street after receiving reports of an armed robbery in progress at around 9:15 p.m.
Arriving officers located the victim who reported that two black male suspects who were wearing hoodies took an unknown amount of cash before fleeing the scene in a dark-colored vehicle.
Suspects fitting the same description also attempted an armed robbery in the 100 block of Adelaide Street reports said.
There were no physical injuries reported.
