There is an active crime scene in the 100 block of Mulberry Street as police investigate a robbery that occurred at a bank a short time ago.
Police were called to the TD Bank at around 11:30 a.m. where a male suspect reportedly held up the bank according to reports.
It is not known if the suspect used a weapon when he took a bag containing cash from the establishment reports said.
The Essex County Sheriff Department is assisting with the investigation after a bag was located at Penn Station possibly including the proceeds.
There are no reports of arrested suspects at this time.
