No injuries were reported in a Newark West Ward shots-fired incident on Sunday morning.
At approximately 3:30 a.m., gunfire rang out in the vicinity of 69 Valley Street near 18th Avenue.
Officers arrived at the scene and found shell casings, but no victims were located while canvassing the neighborhood.
The suspect fled the scene and no arrests were reported.
Police have not said who the shooter's target was at this time.
