Authorities Seek Suspects in Newark Robbery

Authorities in Newark request the public’s help identifying the male suspects in connection with a robbery that occurred on Wednesday, December 14. According to Newark Police, at approximately 6 p.m., officers responded to the 900 block of 18th Avenue on a robbery call.  

According to Police, a man was inside a business when he was approached by a male suspect who demanded $100.00 from the victim.  

The victim was then pushed outside the business, where a group of males began striking him until he fell to the ground.  

According to authorities, the group of males then dragged the victim along the ground while removing his belongings from his pockets, including his bank cards, identification, cell phone, and cash. Detectives investigating this incident seek the public’s help in identifying these suspects.  

According to Detectives, suspect one is described as a Black male wearing a black skull cap, a black Nike hooded sweatshirt with a green Nike symbol and strings, a black jacket, white sweatpants, and black and white sneakers.  

Detectives say suspect two is described as a Black individual, possibly female, wearing a gray hooded sweatshirt, gray and black North Face jacket, and a black mask.  

Suspect three is described as a Black male with a black beard, wearing a green skull cap, green hooded sweatshirt, green bubble jacket, green pants, and black boots.
