Authorities in Newark request the public’s help identifying the male suspect in connection with the burglary of a business on Saturday, December 3.
According to Newark Police, at approximately 4:47 a.m., the suspect climbed through the window of a business in the 500 block of 18th Avenue.
Police say the suspect entered the building and stole $12,000.00 in cash, an HP laptop, a Snap-On scanner, and bolt cutters.
Two vehicles were also stolen from the business parking lot, a gray 2006 Buick Lucerne and a gray 2007 Nissan Altima.
Detectives investigating this incident seek the public’s help in identifying the suspect, described as a Black male wearing a red and white trucker cap with a face emoji, a black Nike ski mask, a white thermal long-sleeve shirt, black Adidas pants, and black sneakers.
