Authorities Release Cellphone Photo Taken by Rochelle Bank Customer of Robbery Suspect

Authorities are hoping that a cell phone photo captured by a bank customer will help identify man who robbed the Community Bank of Bergen County today.

Police responded to the Community Bank of Bergen County, located at 210 Rochelle Avenue, sometime after 10 this morning for a hold-up alarm.

The suspect initially entered the bank at approximately 10:09 a.m. for an inquiry. Than police said, suspect left but returned a short time after, approached teller and instructed, "give me the money and no one gets hurt," 

Responding officers searched the area but suspect was not located. 

Initial investigation determined, that the man fled on foot but is believed to have been seen in a silver car heading east on Central Avenue. 

The suspect is described as a male in his 20's, between 5'10" and 6' tall. He was last seen wearing black sweatpants, a black hat with white lettering, a black bubble jacket, a black hooded sweatshirt, teal sneakers, an earring in his right ear and a pinky ring on his right hand. 

The investigation is ongoing.
