A fatal car crash reported in Marlboro has authorities looking into the official cause.
Emergency responders were called to the intersection of Wyncrest Road and NJ-18 shortly after 8:30 p.m. to investigate a crash with serious injuries reported.
Crews arrived to find a vehicle overturned with at least one person trapped inside. Medical staff pronounced the victim dead at that location.
Police closed off the southbound lanes of NJ-18 from Rt. 9 to Rt. 79 for the crash investigation.
There were no other serious injuries immediately reported.
