Authorities in Jersey City are investigating a shooting that sent one person to the hospital early this morning.
The incident occurred in the area of Grand and Harmon streets at around 2 a.m. where police responded to reports of shots fired.
Upon officers' arrival on the scene, they found the victim shot several times according to reports.
EMS transported the victim Jersey City Medical Center in stable condition.
The victim was reported as a juvenile.
The motive for the shooting is under investigation.
