The Passaic County Prosecutor’s Office is investigating an early morning shooting that rattled a neighborhood in Passaic on Sunday.
According to preliminary information, the incident occurred around 1:50 a.m. in the area of 24 State Street.
Police responded after reports of gunfire and arrived to find multiple shell casings on the ground, along with one live round.
Passaic police and detectives canvassed the area but reported no injuries. No arrests have been made, and the suspect or suspects remain at large.
The circumstances surrounding the shooting remain under active investigation.
Authorities are urging anyone with information to contact law enforcement.
