Authorities have released the name of the 36-year-old woman found dead inside the Elmwood Park home.
According to officials, crews responded to 59 Miller Avenue - a two-family brick home - sometime around 11:30 p.m. Tuesday for a report of a fast moving fire.
Despite firefighters fast efforts in having the blaze under control within a half-hour, a woman’s body - later identified as Valeriya Vezhdel, 36 - was reportedly found on the second floor of the home.
The fire remains under investigation by the Bergen County Prosecutor’s Arson Investigation Unit and Bergen County Sheriff.
