Camden County Prosecutor Mary Eva Colalillo and Camden County Police Chief Scott Thomson are investigating a fatal shooting that occurred on Sept. 18th, in Camden.
According to authorities, Camden County Police officer was flagged down near the intersection of Ferry Avenue and Kossuth Street at approximately 10 a.m. by individuals who reported that a man was shot.
Upon arrival, the officer found the victim, later identified as Donte Brown, 31, of Camden, on the ground suffering from an apparent gunshot wound. He was transported to Cooper University Hospital, where he was later pronounced deceased at approximately 12:52 p.m.
The investigation into the shooting is ongoing. No arrests have been made at this time.
