Police in Belleville are on the search for two men who are wanted for an attempted armed robbery that occurred in the city overnight.
The incident was reported in the 300 block of Main Street shortly before 3 a.m. sending police to the scene where store employees reported to officers that two black male suspects rushed into the store armed with guns and attempted the robbery.
According to reports, the employee ran into a secured room immediately when the men entered the establishment.
There were no injuries and suspects did not retrieve any proceeds reports said.
The incident remains under investigation.
